LCA Graduates

Read about what some of our recent graduates are up to.

William From the outset of my four year association with the Lithia Christian Academy (LCA) and their High School educational program, all of my experiences were great. As the parent of a young man transitioning from the public to private school setting, I was continually encouraged by Administrator and Principal, Lanier Motes, and his administrative and teaching staff regarding my son's progress in life. Their faith based tenet, excellent curricular programming for the students, accompanied by the music, sports, and Biblical and spiritual lifestyle teaching and practices were a God send to our family. My son entered the school as a rebellious, strong-willed, yet intelligent High School freshman and emerged a temperate and confident leader, and Valedictorian of his High School senior class. Justin is now a college freshman attending the Georgia Institute of Technology (GA Tech) as an aspiring engineer. His Mother and I will be ever grateful and thankful to the Almighty God and LCA for our son's bright future.

Our experience at LCA was more than we could have ever imagined. Mariah started in the 9th grade.
We were very hesitant to send her to public schools so LCA was recommended to us by a mom of another student at LCA. Over the 4 years Mariah grades took a turn for the better.

She has always struggled in elementary and middle school. The smaller classrooms and the individual help that she got was a spring board toward an amazing future. She is now waiting to begin a 9 month vocational school and then she will be attending Georgia Highlands. Mariah works at the Georgia Aquarium and hopes to continue to work with land and sea animals.

Kenneth Finding Lithia Christian Academy (LCA) for our family was an answered prayer. God led us here and we continue to thank Him for our experience. Our son, Kenneth R. Woods, Jr., had experienced many difficulties in the public school setting. The LCA Family nurtured, loved and supported our son which helped him to build confidence and excel academically and socially. The LCA teachers inspired Kenny to work to earn honor roll status. Kenneth had the opportunity to play on the basketball team, be voted Homecoming King; and grow spiritually. His time at LCA has helped him to develop into a wonderful Christian young man.

Kenneth is currently attending Carver Bible College in Atlanta, GA. He is majoring in Christian Ministries. He is also leading the worship service at Ben Hill Christian Church.
